Emily is a Pro Tools certified multi-instrumentalist, engineer, and producer based in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. She specializes in songwriting, mixing, and recording music to create captivating pieces.

Industry History

Emily has been playing guitar and bass guitar since childhood. In her teens, she wrote, recorded, and performed lead guitar in FINAL GIRLS. The band quickly achieved local success playing notable venues such as The Stone Pony, QXT's, and Dingbatz. They also won the first round of the Wakken Metal Battle representing the state of New Jersey.

 

A few years later, Emily sang, played bass guitar, wrote, recorded, and performed in alternative goth band, Love Letter! Their EP was mixed by Grammy nominated producer, Dave Downham (Adam Blackstone, Alex G, Mitski), and mastered by producer, Philip Odom (Glare, Mannequin Pussy, Militarie Gun). 

Due to musicality, consistent online interaction, and exciting live performances, the releases Emily was a part of from both bands are still gaining new fans and listeners today!

Emily holds a B.A. in Digital Media Literacy from Arizona State University. She completed SAE Institute of Technology's year long audio engineering program in the midst of attending ASU classes online. She studied under established engineers such as Dan Grigsby (Grover Washington Jr., Kool and the Gang, Paula Abdul) to gain hands on experience working with industry standard consoles, equipment, and software.

Due to her versatility, Emily assisted with writing, recording, and playing on different artists' and producers' projects across a span of genres at school and within the New York and New Jersey music scenes.

She interned at East Side Sound (Cro-Mags, John Zorn, Toninho Horta) where she got to interact with a plethora of musicians and observe studio sessions.
